Hugo went on to be the regular cameraman on the soap Dynasty, even directing a few episodes as well.
Another strange rumor that seems to have attached itself to the film, is that it was anonymously financed by a group of psychiatrists for the purposes of testing audiences reaction to scenes of extreme sex and violence a la A Clockwork Orange.
